Sammy Ginsberg (aka the LiteraryPixie) is a writer, teacher, poet, and organizer born and raised in LA. She is the executive director of 21st Century Writers, president of the St Andrews LA Alumni Club, dual citizen with UK, and one of the co-directors of the CSUN Writing Project. She also publishes The Feminist Toilet and has written three blooks.

Tayi Sanusi is a writer and food stylist whose work explores food as one of our oldest forms of storytelling and the language through which we remember and connect. She studied at NYU Tisch, where she earned a BFA in Drama with a minor in Creative Writing. Phil Leirness is a Los Feliz Writer, filmmaker, podcaster, teacher, CA-certified Violence Prevention Specialist, and live show host. His Substack – “The Voice of Los Feliz” – celebrates the neighborhood he loves. Phil has loved Los Feliz all his life, though he would move to Malta if his wife would allow it.

Laura Espinoza was born and raised in East Los Angeles. She identifies as a Chicana. After two decades of working as a graphics and marketing professional within the commercial real estate industry she decided to shift her focus to education. Nicole Levin is a climate organizer and writer living in Los Feliz with her tiny dog. She studied environmental science and comedy while at Harvard University and moved out to Los Angeles to work in entertainment but she doesn’t do that anymore. She is the author of two self-published books. Her debut “Diary of a Sad Girl; Or, My Quest to Find Love on a Dying Planet” (2023) was staff pick at Skylight. And her next book “Diary of a Mad Girl; Me Vs. The Oil Industry Vs. My Nonprofit Job” comes out Sep 15th at Skylight.

Shannon Cain’s writing has been recognized with the O. Henry Prize, the Pushcart Prize, the Drue Heinz Literature Prize and a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. She has taught fiction writing at the Bennington Writing Seminars, the University of Arizona and Arizona State University, and was the Picador Guest Professor of Literature at the University of Leipzig. Her memoir How to Love a Feminist is forthcoming in 2027 from Canongate Books in the UK and Zando in North America.

Trevor Bashaw is a writer from the Arkansas-Kansas-Missouri tri-state area that now lives in Los Angeles. They have an MFA from UC Davis and work at the Getty Foundation. Recent poems of theirs have been published with FENCE, Amygdala, and the Call Center Collective. They also co-edit VERS Literary Magazine.
