Melanie Zoey is a filmmaker, poet, and performer. Melanie has devoted herself to creating rageful, joyful, poetry, prose, scripts and films that bring taboo to light. Sam Hendrian is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker and poet striving to foster empathy through art. From writing poems for strangers each Sunday, to making films about loneliness every month, Sam lives to make others feel seen. Kevin Stack has been writing poetry since 1993. After successfully growing a teenager, he returned to the craft in 2023. Trevor Bashaw is a writer from the Arkansas-Kansas-Missouri tri-state area that now lives in Los Angeles. They have an MFA from UC Davis and work at the Getty Foundation. Dana Cox is a comic artist and illustrator from Los Feliz, California. She makes comics primarily about her own life, but also sometimes about grocery stores. She finds existence perplexing, startling, and often upsetting. Tayi Sanusi is a writer and food stylist whose work explores food as one of our oldest forms of storytelling and the language through which we remember and connect. She studied at NYU Tisch, where she earned a BFA in Drama with a minor in Creative Writing. Charlie Tea is a singer-songwriter, busker, one-man-band, poet and aspiring novelist based in Nederland, Colorado, though originally from Dayton, Ohio. He’s an avid concertgoer and hiker, and bookwork, who can be found performing frequently on Pearl Street Mall and in downtown Nederland. Phil Leirness is a Los Feliz Writer, filmmaker, podcaster, teacher, CA-certified Violence Prevention Specialist, and live show host.
